GMAT Score 2025: Calculator, Chart, Validity, Percentile

Updated on 13 Nov 2025, 09:57 AM IST

The maximum that a candidate can score in GMAT exam is 805. The new GMAT score chart for 2025 ranges from 205 to 805. The previous GMAT score ranged between 200-800. Your GMAT total score depends on how you have performed on all the three sections of the exam, with each section weighted equally. The GMAT score validity is 5 years, so you can send the scores to different universities whenever you are ready. To get into a top B-school, 645+ should be the target. Average GMAT score for top business schools may vary from university to university but most of them prefer 645+. A high GMAT score will not only indicate the potential of the candidate but also open the gates for a GMAT scholarship (not all B-schools/management schools offer GMAT scholarships). Candidates may also take the exam more than once, if they are not satisfied with the GMAT results up to 5 times in a year and up to unlimited times in the lifetime. The official GMAT score reports are available to test takers and business schools approximately three to five days after the test date. More than 2300 universities and educational institutions across the world, which also include some prestigious B-schools in India accept the GMAT score 2025.
