What sets the SAT Digital exam apart is its streamlined nature; it takes 2 hours and 14 minutes to complete. Notably, the SAT Digital exam is one hour shorter compared to its previous version. Adding to the convenience, students are now allowed to bring their own devices like laptops or iPads to the SAT test centres.

The written SAT exam was scored on a 400 - 1600 point scale, the Digital SAT has also been scored on the same scale. Also, the test will be administered by proctors at official test centres and students who require an accommodation will get the same support with an option of a paper test.
